Join Llandovery Community Cinema on Friday, 31 October for an unforgettable evening of horror, community spirit, and Welsh culture as they present a special Halloween screening of the critically acclaimed Welsh-language horror film Gwledd (The Feast) - with English subtitles.

Thanks to generous funding from Ffilm Cymru, Llandovery Community Cinema is showcasing seven Welsh-language films and three environmental-themed features throughout the year.

Gwledd (The Feast) combines the two elements of Llandovery Community Cinema’s programme:

Set against the eerie backdrop of the Welsh countryside, Gwledd tells the sinister tale of a mysterious young woman who arrives to serve a lavish dinner at a wealthy family's rural home — but what’s on the menu is far more terrifying than it seems. Steeped in Welsh folklore and eerie ecological warnings, this slow-burning horror leads to a shock ending that’ll leave you breathless.

Before the film, tuck into a spooky shared meal lovingly prepared by Trish, Llandovery’s Cooking on a Budget tutor; a frightfully tasty start to your Halloween night.

Fancy dress? Entirely optional, but encouraged! Bring your best costume (or just your sense of fun) and get ready for a night of spooky fun.

Tickets: £5 – Available from LYCC, online, or on the door.

Please note: The film is rated 18 - not suitable for children.

Eat to your hearts content, dress to distress and get ready for a thrilling evening!
