The A40 between Bwlch and Brecon is currently closed due to a road traffic collision.
Dyfed-Powys Police have asked people avoid the area.
Diversions are in place via the B4558, Talybont.
A spokesperson for Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police has said: "Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey.
