A supermarket worker has raised hundred of pounds for charity after she dressed up as an angel in the two weeks leading up to Christmas.

Christmas angel Joyce Bailey single handedly raised £278.96 in ten shifts for Young Lives Vs Cancer while working at Morrisons in Brecon.

Joyce dressed up as a Christmas angel - pictured below - for each shift while she was in the store.

A spokeswoman from the Brecon Morrisons branch said: “Over the two weeks leading up to Christmas Joy dressed up as a Christmas Angel on every shift she was in store for, with the hope to raise money for our charity partner - Young Lives vs Cancer.

“I am very very proud to tell you that she single handedly raised £278.96 in just 10 short shifts.

“I am very proud of her accomplishment and wanted to see her get some recognition for her efforts.”
