ABOUT 20 people took part in the annual CYTUN (Churches Together in Wales) Walk of Witness around Llandrindod Wells on Good Friday.

Starting at the town’s bandstand, the group was led by the Rev Andrew Tweed and a wooden cross carried on its first stage by church warden Phyllis May and CYTUN secretary Jenny Davies. Others who took part were the Rev Brian Reardon and CYTUN treasurer Martin Nosworthy. They processed around the town stopping at various points for readings and prayers and finishing at Holy Trinity Church where everyone involved was provided with hot cross buns and refreshments.

This was followed by a service later in the day at Holy Trinity Church and other churches around the town.
