Care & Repair Powys has collected 50 festive shoeboxes to be distributed to older residents across Powys who may be feeling lonely this Christmas, as part of the Care & Repair Christmas Gift Box Appeal.

The shoeboxes, filled with thoughtful treats and gifts, will be delivered in time for Christmas to bring some much-needed festive cheer.

A special thank you goes to the pupils of Llanelwedd Church in Wales Primary School, whose Community Links Committee generously donated a large number of boxes.

Thanks are also extended to Barcud and everyone else who contributed gifts and support to the appeal.
