Brecon Cathedral will be holding an open day later this month to showcase the exciting plans for the upcoming building work on the building.
The open day will play on Monday, February 26 2024 from 11am to 3pm. The event will be an opportunity for learn about the work going on at the Cathedral - part of the £3.26 million National Lottery People | Passion | Priory project.
The building work comprises of new roofs for the east end of the Cathedral, a new west entrance into the building, and internal reordering to provide a more flexible space for events, concerts, and worship.
Come along, meet the architect and view the latest plans, speak to the project team, and learn about what is intended. We will also be gathering views for the next stage of the project.
The open day will feature three presentations:
11:10am - An introduction to the project by the Cathedral team.
1:10pm - A presentation of the work planned by the Project Architect and what remains to be decided.
2:40pm- A repeat of the 1:10pm talk.
There will be copies of graphics, plans, and reports to consult on the day and links to download digital copies or request paper copies.
