Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called out to Llyn Y Fan Fach on Thursday, October 26.

The team responded to a report of an exhausted, hypothermic casualty.

After arriving on the scene, the team assessed and warmed up the casualty and due to the worsening conditions the Maritime and Coastguard Agency coastguard helicopter was requested.

A spokesperson for the rescue team said: "The helicopter performed some incredibly skilled flying and with persistence managed to get to the casualty and transport them to hospital to get checked over. A big thankyou to rescue 187 for helping!

"Please ensure you stay #AdventureSmart whilst out in the hills!"
