A new analysis of house sales over the past five years has highlighted the most and least expensive residential streets in Brecon.

Data collected from the HM Land Registry by property specialists Property Solvers shows that Camden Road, Belle Vue Road, and Beacons Park top the list for the highest average house prices in the area. Meanwhile, Gwenllian Morgan Court, Maes-y-ffynnon, and The Struet rank among the most affordable streets.

Between 2020 and 2025, four properties sold on Camden Road (postcode LD3) for an average of £447,500 - the highest average in the town. Belle Vue Road and Beacons Park followed closely, with average sale prices of £390,750 and £389,687 respectively.

At the other end of the scale, Gwenllian Morgan Court saw 22 properties sold at an average of just £120,745, making it the most affordable street in Brecon during this period. Maes-y-ffynnon and The Struet also featured among the least expensive, with average prices of £124,060 and £138,000.

Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam explained the methodology behind the rankings: “To keep the data less skewed, we only ranked streets with more than three sales.”

He also highlighted some notable outliers: “It’s therefore worth noting that, in recent years, a property on Camden Road (LD3) sold for £825,000 and, at the other end of the market, there were properties that sold for £89,000 and under on Watton (LD3), The Struet (LD3) and Little Free Street (LD3).”
