Crickhowell’s town bridge will have to close over night to ensure repairs can be done following the extreme weather last weekend.
Powys County Council have said: “Residents of Crickhowell are being warned that the town’s bridge will have four night-time closures next week to allow emergency repairs following Storm Dennis. The first temporary closure will come into effect on Monday February 24 from 7pm to 7am”.
The bridge was closed from Sunday until Monday afternoon this week and is a vital route for pedestrians and vehicles to and from Llangattock.
