Builth Bike Bash 2026 took place on Sunday, 6 September, and was a fantastic success, with nearly 150 riders smashing the target of riding the distance from Land's End to John o' Groats in under three hours.
There were 148 participants who between them managed to ride all the way to John o’ Groats and halfway back again! They rode total distance of 1586 miles on The Grove in Builth Wells.

As always at the event that has been running since 2011, several generations of families rode, picnicked and generally had a good day out, with participants from 2 years old to 70+ years taking part.
The Barista Bull Coffee Bike provided fab coffee and amazing milkshakes, which helped to keep everyone going.
Everyone who attended was treated to water and fruit donated by Asda and Co-op.
The event was supported by a grant from the Heart of Wales Trainline, which meant that participants received a bright orange frisbee.
Bonna Williams, who organises the Bike Bash said: “The committee would like to thank Anna and Dawn from Slimming World who came along and helped with the mass start and raffle.
“Thanks also need to go to all the volunteers, especially Steve Evans who again did a marvellous job of recording all the laps and keeping us updated with the running total throughout the day.”
