MEMBERS, wives and guests of Builth Wells Probus Club, enjoyed a morning of indoor bowls recently at Erwood Market Hall, with the winner of the competition being Dave Smyth, seen here (centre left) being presented with the Spring Shield by Probus Chairman, Ted Edwards.
A celebratory lunch was held afterwards at The Wheelwright Arms in Erwood.
Probus is a club for retired and semi-retired people, traditionally male, and promotes good fellowship with regular bi-monthly morning meetings, which are held at Builth Wells Golf club, featuring speakers on a wide variety of interesting topics.
