Pupils from Ysgol Calon Cymru have recently sold daffodils as part of their fundraising efforts for Marie Curie charity.
The students raised £57.50 from the sale, all in aid of the charity, which provides care and support to people living with a terminal illness and those close to them.
The event was followed by a quiz night held recently at the Greyhound Hotel in Builth Wells, organised by Builth Wells Rotary Club.
The club match funded the money raised to make a total of over £200 raised from the quiz.
Pupils will also be baking and selling cakes at another initiative in the near future.
