BUTCH Keylock and his wife Lorna are celebrating the arrival of their new ‘Tardis’ as they look forward to this weekend’s Six Nations rugby matches.

After Wales’ outstanding victory over England the other weekend, the Brecon couple are selling tickets for a draw to win Wales and Scotland shirts, and a Six Nations shirt, ahead of this weekend’s fixture at Murrayfield on Saturday (March 9).

The couple are out every year before each Six Nations game raising money for Cancer Research Wales.

In the past they have done it from a big kiosk called the Tardis but this year they have received delivery of a brand new kiosk, which is lighter and has wheels on it.

Butch said he was finding manhandling the old Tardis was becoming increasingly difficult as he got older.

The new one has been built by RAF engineers and will be situated in the usual place in the centre of town next to Brecon Guildhall.

The Six Nations shirt from the last draw was won by Martin Shells and £1,100 was raised for charity.

Reflecting on the last round of Six Nations matches, Butch said: “Wales versus England – what a result! The boys brought the bread home. There’s still a lot to play for, let’s hope they keep going strong.

“As you can see the new Tardis has arrived, and she will be out on the street this weekend. The new one has wheels all round and a lovely paint job courtesy of the RAF – thank you boys. Well done.”
