ONE of the world’s finest university choirs will sing a programme of Christmas songs in Hay-on-Wye next week.
The choir of Clare College, Cambridge will be singing its Christmas Sequence of music from the 15th to 21st centuries, including Ding! Dong! Merrily on High and Silent Night, at St Mary’s Church in Hay from 7.30pm on Monday, December 7.
Hay Music’s John Stark said: “The choir is internationally recognised as one of the world’s finest university choirs. After Hay they will sing in New York, Philadelphia and Westminster and next year in Notre Dame, Paris.”
