A popular Take That tribute act will perform at Theatr Brycheiniog in Brecon on April 16, bringing a full recreation of the band’s greatest hits to the stage.
The Take That Experience, which has been touring the UK for more than a decade, aims to capture the vocals, costumes, and choreography of the original group. The show covers the band’s career from the 1990s to the present, featuring hits including Pray, Relight My Fire, Patience, Shine, These Days and Giants.
The performance also includes a solo set from the tribute “Robbie Williams,” performing tracks such as Angels, Rock DJ, Candy and Let Me Entertain You. The act has been endorsed by Take That’s original manager, Nigel Martin Smith, who has described them as “the closest thing to Take That.” Singer Russell Watson has also praised the show, calling it “One word – amazing!”
Audiences can expect a visually striking performance, with acclaimed vocal performances, replica costumes, and carefully choreographed dance routines that recreate the feel of a Take That concert.
The band performed venues across the UK last year, including the Civic Barnsley, New Theatre Royal Lincoln, and the Royal Hippodrome Eastbourne, and will stop at Brecon on April 16 this year as part of dozens of shows across the countty. If you can’t make the April date in Brecon, they will also be performing at Abergavenny’s Borough Theatre on October 10.
The Brecon performance is part of the band’s Greatest Hits Tour, which brings together classic tracks from three decades of Take That’s career. The show is designed to appeal to fans of all ages, whether they followed the band in the 1990s or discovered their music more recently.
Tickets for the Brecon show are on sale now via the Theatr Brycheiniog website or from their box office.
