Leave Means Leave and the UKIP Brecon & Radnor Branch organized a cross-party pro clean Brexit stall in Bethel Square, Brecon, on Saturday, April 6. Miscellaneous leaflets supporting a full WTO No Deal Brexit were distributed to passers by.

Dr Felix Aubel, the Leave Means Leave Co-ordinator for Mid & West Wales and former Conservative parliamentary candidate for Brecon & Radnor at the 2001 General Election, said: “What was particularly encouraging is that not one Leave voter whom we spoke to, now supported remaining in the EU. Also, several Remain voters in 2016 now supported a clean Brexit because of the way in which the EU were treating the United Kingdom in order to deter any other member state from contemplating leaving their institution”.

Dr Aubel continued: “I wish to thank Clive Easton, the hard working UKIP chairman in Brecon & Radnor, and all of his dedicated local members who gave up their time to man our stall, together with several other people of varying pro Brexit political persuasions who travelled to Brecon in order to oppose the Brexit Betrayal of the EU Withdrawal Agreement and the Remainer dominated Parliament, which is seeking in every possible way to overturn the democratic wishes of the record 17.4 million people who voted to Leave the EU without any ifs or buts”.

He concluded his remarks by saying: “I look forward to returning to Brecon & Radnor in order to do another Brexit Means Exit stall, in the near future”.
