For the past three years, Councillor Iain McIntosh has taken it upon himself to purchase and display the iconic giant poppies that you will all see in and around Brecon town and surrounding areas to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.
Brecon Chamber of Trade and Tourism are this year running a competition to win a fruit and vegetable hamper donated by Camden Stores Farm Shop and goodies from Ty Cariad for the nearest guess on how many poppies have been displayed .
All you need to do to enter the competition is email Brecon Chamber of Trade and Tourism at: [email protected] with your name and contact detail and the number of poppies you think have been put on display in and around the town.
The winner with the nearest guess will be announced on the Chamber Facebook page on Tuesday, November 23 2021
