A Cost of Living Advice Day organised by Brecon Councillors Matthew Dorrance, Liz Rijnenberg, Chris Walsh and David Meredith will be held today this morning (Friday) at the Guild Hall in Brecon.

The event, which goes on until midday aims to bring local and national agencies together to provide help and support to residents.

The multi-agency event will also host the local School Uniform Swop Shop and anyone needing items for the new school term is encouraged to attend. Families can also donate pre-loved school uniform items at the event.

Agencies taking part in the event include: Citizens Advice, Macmillan Cancer Support, Powys County Council, Wales and West Housing Association, Dwr Cymru, Nest, Mind, Accessibility Powys
