POWYS residents are being encouraged to explore all avenues of exemptions from the bedroom tax which came into into force on April 1.

County councillor Matthew Dorrance, has called on constituents set to lose out from the bedroom tax to explore every conceivable exemption before the changes take effect on April 1.
