THE Radnor Young Farmers Clubs county rally was held at the Laws Farm, Knighton, and hosted by Knighton YFC.

After weeks of preparing the site and hoping for good weather the day finally arrived.

The weather started good but rain started mid afternoon. This didn’t dampen the spirit of the event as competitions went ahead as normal.

The results were:

Pre Rally dancing competition, winners Edw Valley.

Limousine cattle judging Will Rogers, Aeron Powell, Arron Bagley and Elgan Davies.

Suffolk sheep judging Laura Watson, Ellie Owens, Thomas Swancott and Howell Rees.

Horse judging Nerys Hammond, Ellie Owens, Annie Fairclough and Rhys Morris.

Three of the smallest clubs gained the most points with only 10 points between 1st and 3rd places.

Llanbadarn Ffyndd YFC were the overall winners and with just two fewer points Teme Valley YFC were runners up and Aberedw were third.
