A Merthyr Tydfil man will appear in court this month on a charge of stealing £25,000 from a Brecon business over a period of more than two years.

Allyn Lee Hooper, of Gurnos, will appear at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on November 18.

The charge alleges that the 29-year-old stole the sum of money from Clarks, Brecon, across a timeframe of more than two years between July, 18 2018 and September 19, 2020.

Hooper appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court on October 21 but the case was moved over to Merthyr Crown for later this month.

Hooper remains on unconditional bail before his court appearance.
