A female driver has been airlifted to hospital after her car collided with an articulated lorry on the A470 Llanidloes bypass early this morning (Friday, December 18).
The incident occurred at around 7:40am and Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed that the road is likely to be remain closed for some time.
A spokesman for the police force said: “Dyfed-Powys Police was called to a collision involving a car and an articulated lorry on the A470 Llanidloes bypass at around 7.40am today (Friday, 18 December).
“The driver of the car has been airlifted to hospital. Her two passengers were treated at the scene by paramedics.
“The road will remain closed for some time for collision investigation work to be carried out.
