ON the evening of October 19, Cylch yn yr Ysgol, previously known as Cylch Meithrin Llanfair ym Muallt, had its official opening to celebrate their first half term in their new home, Builth Wells County Primary School.
The Welsh-medium pre-school moved to the school in September, following the changes to the Primary school admission age. A purpose-built room at the school became available, and Cylch yn yr Ysgol has been delighted with the relocation, having received a very warm welcome from the school.
Cllr David Price, chair of the school governors, cut the ribbon surrounded by the children who have been settling in at the setting.
It was a lovely evening with singing, playing and chatting, strengthening the relationships between the school, the community and Cylch.
The children very much enjoyed showing their mums and dads what they have been up to.
The setting is managed entirely by volunteers, most of whom are parents to the children. They, along with many other parents, grandparents, school staff and governors had a very busy summer holiday pulling it all together, but the hard work has paid off.
Special thanks to the staff at the setting who have worked tirelessly, completing all the finer details.
