An electric bike was seized by police yesterday morning (Sunday, 7 November), and the driver of the vehicle was reported for having no insurance.
A road policing officer spotted a male riding the electric bike through Builth Wells.
The police has said: “This vehicle does not meet the definition of an Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle-EAPC, which means it is classified as an Electric Motorcycle and has a maximum speed of 30mph. Driver will be reported for no insurance, being a disqualified driver and the bike was seized under section 165.”
