Four bands will battle it out on Friday at The Foundry in Brecon for a cash prize.
The competition began on Friday, 13 February, and has seen a number of talented bands perform their original music over several weeks, with one band set to be crowned the winner at the final on Friday.
Now in its third year, the event, organised by The Foundry in Brecon, has quickly become a great way to provide a platform for original music in a rural area and to showcase the incredible talent coming from local artists and bands.
The winning band will receive £750 in prize money, along with recording and filming opportunities to help support their music going forward. There will also be prizes awarded to the runners-up.
Bands: Rumbrave, The Lost and Found, Sunny Inside, and The Vulcan Straight will battle it out to be named Battle of the Bands 2026 Champion.
Starting at 7pm on Friday, each finalist will perform a 30-minute headline set, pulling out their best originals, crowd favourites, and show-stopping energy. Judges and audience votes combine to crown the winner, who takes home £750 and earns a headline slot at The Foundry later in the year.
It is free entry to the final, taking place at The Foundry. RSVP for the event and more details can be found here: https://www.thefoundrybrecon.co.uk/event-details-registration/battle-of-the-band-the-final
