The 26th annual Brecon Beacons Food Festival took place on Saturday, 3 June at Brecon indoor market.

Crowds flocked to the festival to see exhibitors with welsh food and drink, and to watch many talks and demonstrations.

People in attendance were kept entertained through musical performances by Brecon Male Voice Choir, Dare to Sing, Affinity Choir, Talgarth Male Choir, Alive & Kicking, and Kirk Marsh as Elvis.

Festival Organiser Andrew Powell said: "Massive thank you to all the sponsors and exhibitors for making Brecon Beacons Food Festival happen, and I hope Brecon was happy that the event took place."

Brecon West Ward Councillor Matthew Dorrance, who attended the Food Festival said: “Congratulations to the organisers and the traders for another successful Food Festival. “In Wales, we are lucky to have such a strong and vibrant Welsh food and drink sector with a global reputation for excellence, having one of the most environmentally and socially responsible supply chains in the world.

“I was delighted to stop by the Food Festival and stock up on high quality Welsh produce.”

The exhibitors at this years festival included drinks companies such as; Brecon Beacons Cider, Tudor Brewery, Cardiff Distillery, Afal-Y-Graig Welsh Cider & Perry, Antur Brew Co, Cascave Gin, Cwm Ceri Vineyards, Gasm Drinks, Left Bank Brewery, Praxis Rum, Spirit of Wales, Blue Moon Wines, Ty Madoc Farm, Da Mhile Distillery, Two Dogs Coffee, and Welsh Brew Tea.

Exhibitors for sweet treats included: Llanfaes Dairy Ice Cream, Shirley's Homemade Raw Chocolate, The Fudge Foundry, Fat Bottom Welsh Cakes, 2Greedy Catering, Marie Cresci's Cheesecakes, Chock Shop, Divine Donuts, Lili Wen Welshcakes, Red Room Confectionary, Gourmet Gower Fudge, Teipi Treats, Nathalie's Cupcake Madness, and Zoe Bakes.

The festival also saw some meat producers there, including: Cardigan Bay Fish, Gwella Cured Welsh Meats, Hay Charcuterie, and Carmarthen Ham.

Preserves, honey and oil exhibitors were made up of: Welsh Honey Company, Little Grandmas Kitchen, Little Black Hen, Pen Y Bryn Honey, Llangattock Honey, and Black Mountains Preserves.

The rest of the lineup of exhibitors was as follows: Dolwerdd Dairy Sheep, Taste of Persia, Samosaco, Trailhead Fine Foods, Wigmores Bakery, Caws Teifi Cheese, Cradoc's Savoury Biscuits, Fiercely Fine Fermented Food, Fair & Fabulous, Pleasantly Pickled, The Parsnipship, and Trecastle Eggs.
