On September 30 and October 1, Llandrindod Wells Theatre Company is putting on a night of unforgettable musical theatre at the town’s very own Albert Hall.

The show will be packed with songs from musicals such as Chicago, Hamilton, Hairspray, Les Miserables, Dear Evan Hansen, SIX and many more.

23 years ago the company brought to the stage a West End extravaganza entitled SHOWSTOPPERS! This was producer’s Mandy Davies’ first time in the role and it was completely based on her passion of musical theatre. Little did she know that because of its sell-out success it would run for 17 years.

For 11 years the adult members took on some of the most iconic songs from stage and silver screen, then junior members were introduced to this magical world and became the Showstopper Kidz for the following six years.

It was during the Covid lockdown when Mandy had a chace to look back, and soon realised that the then ’Kidz’ were no longer youngsters but had become talented performers in their own rights.

It was now time to join both casts and pass the baton on to create a new era of SHOWSTOPPERS! - the musical theatre experience for show fans everywhere.
