Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon is coming to Brecon as part of a UK tour later this year.
Lydon, also known as Johnny Rotten, will appear at Theatr Brycheiniog on Thursday, November 5.
The musician, who rose to fame as the frontman and lyricist of the Sex Pistols before forming Public Image Ltd (PiL), will discuss his career and his views on life during the evening.
He will also take questions from the audience as part of the show, titled I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right.
The tour coincides with the publication of Lydon’s new book of the same name.
Organisers describe the show as a chance to hear Lydon share his thoughts on his career, music and life, with the promise that “he could be wrong” or “he could be right”.
Lydon became one of the most recognisable figures of the punk era after the Sex Pistols emerged in the 1970s, with the band’s music and outspoken image helping to fuel a wider cultural movement.
Following the Sex Pistols, he went on to form PiL, which released a string of albums and singles and developed a different sound from his earlier work.
VIP meet-and-greet packages will be available for the Brecon show, while signed copies of Lydon’s book will also be on sale.
The show starts at 7:30pm on November 5 at Theatr Brycheiniog.
Tickets are available from the theatre.
