The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice over Powys for Friday 20 January.

Over Thursday night and Friday morning ice is likely to develop which will cause tricky driving conditions, particularly on Friday morning.

Wintry showers will gradually die out through Thursday night and with skies clearing, surfaces are expected to fall below freezing leading to ice developing on untreated surfaces.

The Met Office expects there to be some icy patches on untreated roads and pathways.

The ice is more likely to cause injuries from slips and falls.
