A convoy of tractors rolled into Archdeacon Griffiths Primary School, Llyswen recently as part of a very special school project.
Pupils from Dosbarth Gwyrdd and Glas took part in a Farmers’ Cafe, which was part of their school topic on 'The World of Work.'
They had invited all farmer parents and grandparents of the children in the classes to join them at school for the special cafe event.
Throughout the session, the pupils were able to talk with the farmers about their jobs and learn more about the world that they work in.
A spokesperson for the school said: "A massive thank you to everyone who came along for refreshments and talked with the children about their jobs as farmers.
"A special thank you to those that also brought in a tractor and allowed the children to look around them and sit in them. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience!"
Following the Farmers' Cafe all of the children were given a Farming Safety booklet. These were provided by The Welsh Government in partnership with Wales Farm Safety.
