JCB Agriculture and its Welsh dealers are set to make a strong comeback at this year’s Royal Welsh Show, showcasing a range of new farm machinery designed to boost efficiency on farms across the region.
The show, running from July 21-24 at Llanelwedd, will feature JCB’s latest materials handling machines, including the upgraded 435S wheeled loader - popular among silage and muck-spreading contractors nationwide - alongside two new Telemaster telescopic wheeled loaders and the advanced Teleskid tracked skid-steer loader.
JCB Agriculture Managing Director, John Smith, said: “Having launched an unprecedented number of important new materials handling machines, we felt it important to give our agricultural dealers in Wales the opportunity to present and explain the features and benefits these new products.
Among the highlights will be the TM280 and TM280S mid-size telescopic wheeled loaders, along with the ultra-compact TM110 model. The TM110 boasts a lift capacity of 1.1 tonnes and a 3.5-metre lift height, powered by a 50hp engine, making it ideal for tight farm buildings thanks to its small size (2.2 metres tall and 1.56 metres wide).
The larger TM280 and TM280S models offer up to 130hp and lift capacities between 2.75 and 4.8 tonnes, with a cabin height of just 2.6 metres for access through low farm doorways. The TM280S further improves performance with a DualTech VT hydrostatic/mechanical transmission for optimal power across working speeds.
Farmers will also get a look at the JCB Teleskid 3TS-8T, a tracked skid-steer loader featuring a unique telescopic arm that increases lift height and reach.
