The Powys Association of Voluntary Organisations already works with a number of community groups, charities and official bodies including Powys County Council and the county health board.

It has now set up a Community Sector Emergency Response Team (C-SERT) which brings together groups offering volunteer support with the public bodies.

PAVO’s Community Connectors service, that already offers support to adults and families across the county to help put them in touch with local services, will help develop local support networks.

The Community Connectors can be contacted on 01597 828649 and their website can be found at https://www.pavo.org.uk/help-for-people/community-connectors.html
