Food hygiene ratings given to eight Powys establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Severn Park Cafe at Back Lane, Newtown, Powys; rated on October 4

• Rated 5: Edinburgh Woollen Mill at The Old Station, Severn Road, Welshpool; rated on September 29

• Rated 5: Halo at 49 The Courtyard, Crickhowell, Powys; rated on September 27

• Rated 5: Subway at Applegreen Ss, Salop Road, Welshpool, Powys; rated on September 27

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Talbot Hotel at Berriew, Welshpool, Powys; rated on September 30

• Rated 5: The Bell at The Bluebell, Glangrwyney, Crickhowell, Powys; rated on September 29
