New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: Moore Golf Catering at Llandrindod Wells Golf Club, Golf Links Road, Llandrindod Wells, Powys; rated on October 17

• Rated 4: The Hours Cafe & Bookshop at Cathedral Close, Brecon, Powys; rated on October 17

• Rated 3: Rhayader Football Club at The Weirglodd, Water Lane, Rhayader, Powys; rated on October 18

It means that of Powys's 415 similar establishments with ratings, 268 (65%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
