New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Aubrey Arms, at Lower Cwmtwrch, Swansea, West Glamorgan was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 1.

And Llanymynech Golf Club, at Llanymynech, Powys was given a score of two on November 1.

It means that of Powys's 271 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 167 (62%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
