Food hygiene ratings handed to four Powys establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Hay Castle Cafe at Castle Street, Hay-On-Wye, Hereford; rated on October 17

• Rated 3: Tad Cod at 1 High Street, Brecon, Powys; rated on April 25

Takeaways

And two ratings have been handed to takeaways:

• Rated 5: Tiffin Indian Restaurant at 4 Wind Road, Ystradgynlais, Swansea; rated on October 19

• Rated 4: Garth Owen Fish & Chip Shop at 4 Garth Owen, Newtown, Powys; rated on August 9
