Food hygiene ratings handed to six Powys establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following rating has been given to one restaurant, cafe or canteen:

• Rated 5: St Thomas Church Volunteers at Canolfan Pennant -, Penybontfawr, Powys; rated on February 18

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Westwood Park Hotel at Salop Road, Welshpool, Powys; rated on February 23

• Rated 5: Red Lion at Castle Caereinion, Welshpool, Powys; rated on February 21

Takeaways

Plus three ratings for takeaways:
