New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Knighton Auction Yard Canteen, at Bowling Green Lane, Knighton, Powys was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 22.
And Bahar Fine Tandoori Restaurant, at 49 Broad Street, Newtown, Powys was given a score of three on March 14.
It means that of Powys's 406 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 281 (69%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
