CONCERN at the prevalence of heart disease in Wales has prompted a Powys doctor to donate over £2,500 to a leading heart charity.
Dr James Wrench, who works at the Builth and Llanwrtyd Medical Practice, recently donated the cash to Professor Julian Halcox, a cardiology professor at the University of Wales in Cardiff and Zaheer Yousef who works as a cardiothoracic surgeon at the hospital.
