Hairy carer's charity pledge

A CARER is undergoing a sponsored head shave in order to donate his long locks to a charity providing real hair wigs to children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment.

Thoughtful Kit Coleman, of Libanus, who has not had his hair cut for more than four-and-a-half-years, will undergo a grade one buzz cut to support the Little Princess Trust.

Kit, 23, will kiss goodbye to his mane on Friday, August 12, when staff at the aptly named Altered Image hair salon in Brecon give him a trim.
