Brecon Town Council is asking residents and community groups for their views on what should happen to disused phone boxes in the town.

Some ideas have included: mini libraries, community defibrillator sites, green spaces, art displays, and community noticeboards.

A spokesperson for the town council said: “We also want to hear from any community groups or organisations who may be interested in adopting and maintaining a phone box in Brecon for community use.

“Your views will help shape decisions about which phone boxes could be adopted and how they could best serve the community.”

Take part in the consultation at brecontowncouncil.org.uk/consultation-phone-boxes or pick up a paper copy at the Guildhall or Visit Brecon office.

The consultation closes on June 26.
