A Brecon home care agency has been named among Wales’ Top 20 home care providers for 2026.

Silver Assist Homecare received the recognition from home care review website homecare.co.uk, based on reviews from people receiving care and their families.

The annual awards recognise the highest-rated home care providers across the UK, with Silver Assist Homecare praised for its person-centred approach.

The agency provides care to help people maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life in their own homes.

Homecare.co.uk lists more than 365 home care providers across Wales and more than 13,000 across the UK.

The awards are intended to help people and families identify highly rated care providers in their local area.

Home care can include support with personal care, preparing meals, managing medication and companionship, helping older people, people with disabilities and those with long-term health conditions to remain living independently.

Amanda Hopkins, Reviews Manager at homecare.co.uk, congratulated Silver Assist and said high-quality home care was important in helping people remain independent and live at home for as long as possible.
