Lateral flow test (LFT) kits to test for coronavirus are still available to collect in Powys for those who are eligible, the county council has said.

As part of a pilot scheme from Welsh Government, LFT kits are still available to collect from Powys libraries for residents who meet the following criteria:

  • A doctor or specialist has said you’re eligible for new COVID-19 treatments https://gov.wales/covid-19-treatments
  • You are going to visit someone eligible for new COVID-19 treatments
  • Your GP or healthcare professional asks you to take a test
  • You have COVID-19 and want to check if your test result is still positive after day five - family/friends should collect on your behalf.

Residents suffering from any COVID-19 symptoms should not visit a library to collect kits and can instead access kits either online www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests or by calling 119.
