Jack and the Beanstalk promises to deliver huge helpings of fun, magic and stunning theatre when the flagship production arrives in Brecon later this year.
Building on the roaring success of last year’s Dick Whittington, brother-sister production team Jermin allow a breath-taking battle of the beanstalk to unfold, in a spectacle which demands the audience get involved.
We all know the story. Can Jack be quick enough to reach the home and escape the Giant’s grasp? Will the Fairy send her strong powers to help Jack and his mother chop down the beanstalk before the Giant can reach the ground?
""We are delighted to be returning to Brecon this year with our version of Jack and the Beanstalk and promise to make this year’s Production even better than last year!" says actress and company director Nia Jermin.
"We set up our company to make theatre both affordable and accessible to children and families who may not usually have the budget or opportunity to attend large scale professional Theatre," adds Mark Jermin, "... and we hope that audiences will agree that they can get a fantastic Pantomime for excellent value for money."
"With Jack and the Beanstalk being our second year in the Brecon area, Nia and I are keen to invest in the local community, especially the younger population who we feel will truly benefit from the professional experience we can now offer them.
"We are so excited to include local talent and to make our Pantomime about the community. The feedback from previous productions has been so positive! Our Pantomime contains a very colloquial script, which we write ourselves, and which is inundated with local references."
Jack and the Beanstalk arrives in Brecon on December 28, this year, at Theatr Brycheiniog.
