OVER the next month, the Willow Globe will be hosting eight events ranging from foraging, music, world-class storytelling and Shakespeare!
The month will kick off on Saturday, June 2 with two foraging workshops from one of the UK’s leading foragers, Adele Nozedar – many Brecon and Radnor Express readers may already have her wonderful book ‘The Hedgerow Handbook’ tucked away on their book shelves. Adele welcomes adults and children to this exciting, inspiring and fun workshop.
There will be two bespoke singing workshops around the Willow Way from Fiona Evans, of the popular local a-capella group The Decibelles, which will be followed in the evening by a performance from the full team on Sunday, June 17.
The junior Mid Powys Youth Theatre will perform an abridged version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Thursday 21 to mark Mid Summer’s Solstice and an audience will be treated with world-class storytelling and music from the amazing Devil’s Violin company on the afternoon of Saturday, June 24.
Finally Willow Globe favourites The Factory will round off the month on Saturday, June 30 with a brand new production of Troilus and Cressida. It certainly promises to be a special month.
