BRECON and Radnorshire AM Kirsty Williams is helping Macmillan Cancer Support promote the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
It’s the 27th year of the coffee morning and Kirsty enjoyed a cuppa and a slice of cake at the awareness event in the Senedd, as well as taking the opportunity to chat with Macmillan staff and volunteers.
Speaking about supporting the event, the Brecon and Radnorshire AM said: “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is a fantastic fundraising event that takes place in homes, schools and workplaces throughout Wales. It’s a lovely social event and a fantastic way to get together, share a slice of cake and a cuppa and raise some money for charity. Macmillan Cancer Support helps people from the moment they are diagnosed, with medical and practical help, as well as emotional and financial support. But they rely on donations from the public to help fund their work.”
Susan Morris, for Macmillan Cancer Support in Wales, commented: “It’s great to see our elected Assembly Members supporting Macmillan in Wales.”
