TWO Liberal Democrat cabinet members were booted from office at the Powys County Council elections.

Lib Dem group leader Les Davies and cabinet colleague Ken Harris, both long serving councillors, were defeated at the polls.

To rub salt in the wounds Mr Davies lost his Disserth and Trecoed seat to Conservative candidate Gwilym Williams.
