This August, Llandovery is turning into a giant game of hide-and-seek - and everyone is invited to join the fun.

The Llandovery Business Group is hiding a tiny red dragon in the window of one of the town’s shops every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday throughout August. If you spot the dragon, simply take it into Judy’s Ice Cream Parlour on Stone Street and exchange it for a lucky dip voucher to spend in one of Llandovery’s independent shops.

But that’s not all. The town’s much-loved Bumblebees of Llandovery are running a weekly bear hunt on Market Square. Each Friday, a little hand-knitted bear – complete with its own charming backstory – will be tucked away, ready for a new home. The bear hunt will continue until the end of October when the bears will go into hibernation for the winter. Clues to the bear’s personality and whereabouts will be shared on social media every Thursday.

Both hunts promise a summer filled with family fun, community spirit, and plenty of reasons to explore and enjoy everything Llandovery has to offer.
