A MAN has been charged with child abduction after two children were allegedly approached in separate incidents in Brecon town centre.
John Aubrey Jones, of Parc y Castell, Builth Wells, appeared before magistrates in Welshpool on Monday.
Dyfed Powys Police said the children involved were unharmed and reunited with their parents within minutes.
The incidents were reported to police within five minutes of each other just after midday on Saturday. The first incident is said to have occurred at the public toilets in Lion Yard and the second at the nearby Morrison’s supermarket car park.
The 37-year-old will next appear before Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on July 4.
