A CLIMATE activist from Breconshire has been revealed as the Greenpeace protester who was grabbed by a Tory MP at a posh London dinner.
Janet Barker from Llangammarch Wells is the woman seen in a red dress who was grabbed by Conservative Minister Mark Field.
He was seen on video grabbing the woman in a red dress, part of protest to disrupt the Mansion House dinner, where chancellor Philip Hammond was due to make the key note speech.
The video showed the MP grabbing the woman by the neck, slamming her against a pillar and marching her out of the dinner.
According to Greenpeace, dozens of activists “gatecrashed” the dinner dressed in suits, red dresses and sashes and refused to leave.
City of London Police said it is looking into “a number of third-party reports of a possible assault.”
Mark Field, who said he was "genuinely concerned" Ms Barker may have been armed, was today suspended as a minister following the footage which Prime Minister Theresa May described as "very concerning".
A Number 10 spokeswoman said: "The prime minister has seen the footage and she found it very concerning.
"The police have said they are looking into reports over this matter and Mark Field has also referred to himself to both the Cabinet Office and the Conservative Party.
"He will be suspended as a minister while investigations take place."
Ms Barker was previously arrested in April at the Extinction Rebellion in London after Met Police stepped up its efforts to move protesters from Oxford Circus.
